My program of research investigates how individual difference variables influence how we perceive our interaction partners in dyads and groups.
Examples include the influence of (1) social anxiety on self-control following stressful interactions, and (2) social identification on the experience of interaction partners from other ethnic groups.

I am especially interested in statistical techniques for modeling the non-independence in these interactions. Currently, I am conducting research on strategies to circumvent limited self-control.
