Call Me Kat is an American television sitcom that aired on Fox from January 3, 2021, to May 4, 2023. The series stars Mayim Bialik as Kat, and includes Cheyenne Jackson, Kyla Pratt, Julian Gant, and Swoosie Kurtz.

Leslie Jordan was also featured until his death on October 24, 2022. The series is largely based on the British sitcom Miranda by Miranda Hart, and was developed by Darlene Hunt. In May 2023, the show was canceled after three seasons.

Premise

Call Me Kat follows a 39-year-old woman named Kat, "who struggles every day against society and her mother to prove that you cannot have everything you want – and still be happy".^[1] After leaving her job as a professor at the University of Louisville,^[2] she spends the money her parents set aside for her wedding to open a cat café in Louisville.^[1][3]
